Developer Tools

Small utilities for the data you run into while debugging: an XML response, a long SQL query, a Base64 string, a token from an Authorization header or a timestamp in a log line. Paste it in to see what it says.

Tokens and encoded strings often carry credentials. Here they are decoded on your device, and nothing you paste is sent anywhere.

Tools in this category

  • XML Formatter & Validator

Format or minify XML in your browser and check that it is well-formed, with each error at its line and column. Comments, CDATA and mixed text stay as written.

Decode Base64 to UTF-8 text or a file, or encode text and files in your browser. Works with URL-safe Base64, data URIs and PEM, and pinpoints bad characters.

  • JWT Decoder

Decode a JSON Web Token in your browser: header, payload and claims with their dates, whether it has expired, and warnings for alg none and risky claims.

  • Unix Timestamp Converter

Convert Unix epoch timestamps to dates and back, in seconds, milliseconds, microseconds or nanoseconds, in any time zone, with daylight saving gaps flagged.

  • SQL Formatter

Format SQL in your browser for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery and 15 more dialects. Comments and placeholders stay; errors show their line.
